What’s one way to beat January boredom? Strapping on a pair of skates.
Skaters took to the ice Saturday at the Flight on Ice skating rink at Park City Center, which opened in December. The rink is open through Feb. 26, including special hours on Valentine’s Day and President’s Day.
The rink is open 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. It’s available for private rentals Monday through Wednesday.
On Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, the rink will be open 4-8 p.m. Its President’s Day Weekend hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 19 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 20. Hours may vary due to weather conditions.
The rink is a collaboration between Flight Entertainment, Discover Lancaster, the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Park City Center. Attendees may bring their own skates or rent them for a fee.
